I’ve been getting into running and realized it was time for new shoes. When I walked into Pacers, I was immediately greeted by Joe who listened attentively to what I needed in a running shoe. He assessed not only my shoe size, but my arches and gait as well. He also proved to be very astute, asking me a variety of questions regarding fit and comfort. I was given a wide range of options to try on and was encouraged to take my time. I even used the treadmill to assess the feel of the shoes I liked most. At the end, I got shoes that felt like the perfect match for me. I’ve since been on several runs and have felt a major difference in terms of fatigue and comfort. I will definitely be back to Pacers in the future and can’t recommend them enough!

Customer representatives were very kind & helpful. Pricing reasonable. Large selection of shoes & very good side walk sale. Knowledgeable staff. The store is definitely with visiting. Love it! My first time visiting Pacers Store instead of Charm City Run for walking shoes! Really nice experience!

Great local place to get running shoes and gear. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Beginners and pros will find something here for them. They have a running treadmill for gait analysis as well.

I came in here while on vacation to replace my worn out sneakers. The helpful gentleman brought out 6 pairs of shoes and really listened to what I was looking for. I found a pair that I liked and was in and out in less than 20 min. Great customer service and selection!

Visited the store on Feb 27th. Didn’t catch the young man’s name, but he provided amazing service and expertise. Walked me through several options for my particular needs until I 100% found the right shoes. Thanks again for all your help!!

I had an amazing experience at Pacers in old town thanks to the outstanding customer service by Danielle who went above and beyond to help me find the perfect pair of shoes. She was very knowledgeable, patient, and made sure I felt confident in my choice. It’s rare nowadays to find someone so genuinely helpful and friendly, from the moment I walked in she made me feel welcome and I am incredible happy with the shoes she helped me pick, it’s been a week now and I just keep thinking of Danielle every time I put them on because they’re just amazingly comfortable!Thank you so much Danielle!!

I’ve been running for years and never thought to go into a running-specific store until today, and I’m really glad I did. I was honestly impressed with how much I learned during the visit. Courtney was great. She took the time to look at how we walk and run, explained things about my feet I never knew, and picked out shoes that were spot-on for both my wife and me. Super knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to work with. Big shoutout to Courtney at the Old Town Alexandria store. We’ll definitely be back.

I’ve been wearing only converse for 3 years and didn’t even know where to start when I needed running shoes. David was super patient and educated me on the different options that were available. He conducted a very thorough measurement and brought out great recommendations. He made my first experience at Pacers comfortable and insightful. Thank you so so much!
